Joseph Soufer, MD

Dr. Soufer is a board-certified physician with more than 30 years of clinical practice and over 25 years of clinical research experience, including the past 15 years dedicated exclusively to research. He has served as Principal Investigator on more than 450 clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas, advancing innovative treatment options for a wide range of medical conditions. Through longstanding collaborations with community internists and subspecialists, Dr. Soufer has helped expand patient access to clinical trials and strengthen enrollment across diverse populations. He is recognized for maintaining high research standards while fostering strong physician partnerships and a patient-centered approach to clinical trials.

Dr. Soufer earned his medical degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale–New Haven Hospital, and pursued fellowship training in endocrinology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
