Dr. Ashok Patel is a board-certified geriatric psychiatrist with over 30 years of clinical and research experience. He has served as Principal Investigator on more than 200 clinical studies across nursing-home, clinic, hospital, and office-based settings, with a focus on neuropsychiatric and age-related disorders. Founder of Bio Behavioral Health in Toms River, New Jersey, Dr. Patel is recognized for integrating high-quality clinical care with pharmaceutical research to advance treatment options for complex psychiatric conditions. Trained at Cornell University Medical College, he has longstanding expertise in Alzheimer’s disease and depression, with expanded experience across anxiety, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, and comorbid medical conditions. He is also an active contributor to professional organizations and has delivered more than 200 educational presentations in psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
